The following guidelines and policies will define academic performance during this program. 

  1. It is considered unethical to use AI tools to complete any research and writing assignments. 
  2. Tests will be designated a open book or based on your direct mastery of the materials. 
  3. Plagiarism will automatically result in a failed assignment. 

Videos & Lectures

Each video is specific to course modules. All assignments involve addressing the following in your report:

For lectures: 

  1. Identify the speaker.
  2. Identify accurately the subject.

For session observations: 

  1. Identify the therapist. 
  2. Identify the patient/client (use a fictitious name) and accurate diagnostic concept. For example, Bill who has depression.
  3. Identify the therapeutic philosophy or type of therapy. For example: Rational-Emotion Therapy, Emotion Focus Therapy, or Gestalt therapy, etc. 
  4. Identify the therapeutic modality, i.e., how they engaged the client with their therapy presuppositions. For example, their just talked, asked questions, listened, presented for memory visualization, etc.

For all lectures and session observations:

  1. Describe what you learned and what best practices, core value, Biblical teaching (theology or doctrine), "tool" or "technique" you may use with your clients. 
  2. Why is this important to you?
